What We Do and Why
We sail a lot, not only for passages but also for sailing journeys for everyone. We enjoy sharing our experiences and making people aware of the breathtaking places and animals that surround us. These navigations are suitable for everyone, from the most experienced sailor to beginners, always guided by the spirit that defines us.
Coming aboard with us means sharing a moment of our journey, visiting places that are a little different, a little more hidden. The idea is to show the world as we see it from our boat: the encounters, the friendships, our way of life.
Durlindana is a sailing yacht, a true sailing yacht. On board, guests are encouraged to take part in manoeuvres, in the management of the boat, and to understand the reasons behind our navigational decisions and choices, or simply to enjoy the pleasure of being on a beautiful vessel.
I have written three books describing how we live and what we see. Perhaps the time had come to share these incredible experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing with you a moment of this extraordinary journey called life.
On the horizon, there is always a new island, and we cannot wait to discover it, perhaps together with you.

Discovery Philippines – Palawan
Departure on a new exploratory route between the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea.

2026

JANUARY – APRIL 2026
Discovery Philippines – Palawan

Sailing Journeys of 7, 9, 11 days or longer, with embarkation and disembarkation in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

During the voyage we will explore together:

  • The beaches of Honda Bay and Taytay Bay
  • The evocative Underground River and caves with stalactites and stalagmites
  • The Coron Archipelago, further north
  • El Nido, a marine reserve in the north-west of the island
  • Port Barton and its peaceful beaches
  • Coral reefs and the archaeological site of the Tabon Caves
 

Special – February 2026
For one week, a freediving instructor will be on board with us, guiding participants in discovering the clearest and most pristine seabeds of the region.

May – Sailing in Japan: from Ishigaki to Okinawa, Yakushima, Misaki, then north to Hokkaido
Late May / Early June – Hokkaido to Aleutian Islands crossing
From June – Exploration of the Aleutian Islands and Alaska

Kodiak Island & Prince William Sound (Alaska)

Sailing through wild landscapes, rich marine wildlife, glaciers, and untouched nature.
It is possible to join for multiple weeks or multiple legs of the journey.

NOTES

  • Coastal Navigation and exploration: from one week (anchoring in a bay for the night)
  • Short Passage: passage with intermediate stops
  • Ocean Crossing: no stops

(Minimum stay duration: one week. Stays on board may be extended as needed)
